How much does it cost to use the services of your company?
After the 1 hour complimentary session, if the client decides to proceed, STS will put together a complete plan for the needs of each individual client. At minimum the cost is $250.00. The client can then take that plan and work with it, or have STS execute the plan. The plan is fully itemized and discloses all third party costs. Third party costs will be paid directly by the client.
How long will it take to make the move?
STS prefers as much time as possible to put a good move together. We do however work with the client’s timelines and if 30 days is what there is then 30 days it is.
I don’t have the stamina to work for many hours in a row. How do I keep up?
You don’t need to keep up. We work to your abilities. If 3 hours is good then that is the plan. We do not like to push the time with each client per day to more than 4 hours. Making decisions about life long possessions is tiring and we will make every consideration for every client.
Mother has difficulty remembering things. How do you keep things on track?
Many clients have difficulty with memory, especially because of the stress of moving. STS uses many different methods to assist with memory and alleviate stress. STS develops a comprehensive plan that includes a calendar of the move process (what is going to happen when), phone calls to remind of appointments, pictures along with precise documentation of what has happened to which item. Has it been given to family, friends or charity, sold, disposed of, or being taken to the new location? STS takes the time each day to motivate and communicate with the client to make sure control is in the hands of the client and he/she knows what is happening.
I am paying for Dad’s move and expenses. I’m the one making the decisions, right?
Sorry, unless there is a trusteeship in place, Dad has the final say on all things. He is the owner of all the possessions we will be dealing with, and he is the one STS takes direction from.
What form of payment does STS accept?
STS takes cash or cheques. The $250.00 fee for plan development is payable at time of delivery (usually within 5 working days). 50% of final contract cost is paid to STS at time of signing. The remaining 50% is paid upon completion of the contract. Third party billing is arranged with individual companies.
